How do transaction take place?

Each transaction should authorized before it is processed. Authorization is done in two ways:
  • The merchant could telephone the Center of Authorization at National Express and submit the card number and will immediately receive an answer whether to take purchase order or not. The Center of Authorization works 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
  • The authorization could be done electronically In case of manual authorization, the actual vouchers signed by the card holders should be sent to National Express not later than two weeks, Any vouchers let for longer period will be accepted subject to card holders' acceptance and payment.
  • National Express issues a statement of account to the vendor or merchant showing the transaction amounts and commission deducted upon each transaction.
