- The NE Benzene Card is a one-of-a-kind card. It is the only card issued in Jordan that is custom made, based on the request of many of our clients (individuals and companies) to use solely at petrol stations. Its main purpose is to control the car’s expenditure in gas stations over a given period of time.
- National express created the Benzene- Diesel Card for the special usage of individuals, companies and corporations.
- Each card issued for every vehicle, contains the vehicle number and the company or individual person’s name.
- The Benzene card expires within a year from the issuing date, and a new card will be reissued automatically.
- Each card has a monthly statement that details out each amount of fuel usage for each vehicle and keeps track of each movement and records it. These details extend from the date, day, time, place to the amount in JDs that was spent each time as well as the amount of total spending at the end of each month. Hence this facilitates the knowledge of each vehicle’s expenses, in details.
- The use of Benzene cards is more organized than using money or coupons.
- Each Benzene card has the option of customizing the limit of expenditure allowed on it; this is done at the request of the customer or the company of which the card is issued for.
- There are two ways to operate the Benzene card:
- Benzene prepaid card: Were an amount is paid into the card, and the card will continue to be operational until its contents are completely used, after which it will stop operating. More funds can be paid into the card and it will continue to operate and the user has to keep track of his/her consumption. It is designed this way to facilitate the control process over the card.
For example, a company X can issue 20 Benzene cards for its employees and dedicate a limited amount of money to each card based on the company’s estimation of each car’s monthly gas usage amounts. The car driver will only be able to spend the amount dedicated to that particular card, if that person exceeds the car spending at the gas station over the month the card will automatically stop, unless standing authorization from the company indicates otherwise. This card being a gas station card, will not allow the car driver to use the card at any other location.
- Benzene recharge card:
A credit limit is given to each card and at the end of each month, the amount used will be debited to the current account of the company or individual owning the card. After which the card will be reactivated to the original credit limit and only the amount used during the month will be debited to the card owner or the cardholder’s current account. The opening credit limit for new cards is paid in full to activate the card.
